Kate Moss: Street style lessons from the queen of cool
On Jan. 16, 2016, the one and only Kate Moss turns 42! From funky hats to furry coats, we've rounded up some of the supermodel's most iconic street style moments. Join us as we study the fashion icon's wonderfully wearable yet eccentric way of mixing of patterns, shapes and textures in her everyday life. First up, this quintessentially Kate ensemble that she rocked in London on Jan. 11, 2016. Kate paid homage to her late friend David Bowie with a T-shirt featuring the music legend's face, which she wore under a black fur coat. Fashionistas, take note: In order to take a simple rock-inspired look up a notch, just add sparkles! Kate donned shimmering trousers and glittery purple platform boots in another nod to the glam rock icon, then topped the whole ensemble with a black hat. Faux fur is great for any occasion! Kate Moss proved it when she enveloped herself in a giant furry coat for a casual trip to her local pub in England's Cotswolds on May 3, 2015. The model threw it over a pair of skinny jeans and some rain boots for a look that was warm, dry and utterly chic. Take a page out of Kate Moss' go-to style book and make sure to have a few statement pieces on hand. Kate often keeps things simple, then adds one item that really packs a punch. Case in point: She put a leopard coat over basic black tights and flats in London on Jan. 31, 2007. Also key: big, black shades. For an extra edge, add studs! Kate Moss rocked a studded black jacket during a night out in London on Sept. 16, 2015. The supermodel slipped it on over a graphic tee and black skinny jeans accessorized with a scarf and knee-high boots.

OMG!!!. Chimamanda Adichie - one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in the World
Adichie studied political science at Eastern Connecticut State University, and has a Masters degree in writing from Johns Hopkins University and a Masters degree in African Studies from Yale. She has held fellowships at Princeton-where she taught a writing course-and Harvard.
She is the first Nigerian recipient of numerous prestigious literary awards including the Orange prize, the National Book Critics Circle award, the Chicago Tribune Heartland Prize and the Nonino Prize for fiction. She has, most recently, been shortlisted for the Dublin IMPAC prize, the most lucrative literary award in the world.
In addition, she was listed as one of the top twenty fiction writers under the age of forty by The New Yorker magazine.
She has been awarded a Macarthur Fellowship, popularly known as the Macarthur ‘Genius’ Award.
Adichie has also been honoured by the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs with the ‘Global Ambassador’ award.
Her first TED talk, THE DANGER OF A SINGLE STORY, is one of the most-watched TED talks and is a staple of school courses all over the world. Her second TED talk, WE SHOULD ALL BE FEMINISTS, has been a major influence in the ongoing worldwide resurgence of feminism, and inspired Beyonce’s popular anthem FLAWLESS.
Her books have been translated into more than thirty languages and have sold over a million copies worldwide. The film adaptation of her most recent novel AMERICANAH will be co-produced by Brad Pitt and Lupita Nyong’o.
She lives in Lagos, where she organizes an annual creative writing workshop.
Other Nigerians on the TIME 100 list are activist Obiageli Ezekwesili, president-elect Muhammadu Buhari and artist Chris Ofili.
